For those of you wondering about the escape-dog, Lucy, she was not home when we returned from Kosse, but had found a new neighbor to attach herself to. They had taken very good care of her when she showed up scratching at their door that New Year's firecracker night. She ran into their house and slept in their bathroom, after refusing to be pried out the door. Their little boys had named her "New Year". Thanks to Lucy, we now are aquainted with more of our neighbors!
